HUIWEN'S GL JOURNEY

I'm Huiwen from Temasek Polytechnic, currently pursuing a Diploma in Psychology Studies. I come from a sunny little island, Singapore. I am extremely interested in the Chinese culture, especially the language. The Chinese culture is broad and profound, with over 5000 years of history. However, not many Chinese Singaporeans seem to appreciate it. Not understanding why this is the case, I embarked on a journey to find out why the younger generations of Chinese Singaporeans detest Mandarin, and if there is a solution to improve the current state, if it can be saved at all.
